Fury "Kick's Off" the season with impressive weekend

The Minnesota Fury had an excellent showing at the Midwest Kick-Off Classic. We had 3 Championship game appearances, good for 2nd most of any club involved in the tournament. Here are a few highlights:

Minnesota Fury 2016 Blue placed 2nd in their division, beating two 9th grade teams and losing a tough battle to MN Stars Martin in the Championship.

Minnesota Fury 2015 Blue placed 2nd in their division. Coach Peper's squad beat Metro Stars 14u Black in the semi-finals before losing to North Tartan 14u in the Championship.

Minnesota Fury 2014 Blue gave defending National Champion's North Tartan 15u a great game, losing by 7 points, and went on to win the 3rd place game over Metro Stars 15u.

Winona Fury 2017 also went 2-1 on the tournament and placed 2nd. They won an overtime thriller over the Midtown Monarchs in the semi-finals before losing to MN Heat Elite in the Championship game.
