Successful trip to the Deep South Classic for 2013 Elite and 2014 Blue

The trip to Raleigh, NC to the Deep South Classic was a successful one for both Minnesota Fury teams.

Coach Cerisier's 2013 Elite team went 3-1 on the weekend and earned a 5th place finish in the 17u National Division (top bracket). Their only loss came in a tough battle against Mac Irvin IL Fire, who went on to win the Tournment Championship.

Coach Storm's 2014 Blue team won their first two games to guarantee a top four finish, and then lost their last two in highly contested games. The girls had a great experience touring the Duke University Campus and Cameron Indoor Stadium after there first game, where one parent counted 58 colleges watching our game only!

Fury Director, Nick Storm's phone has been very busy since we got back, with over 2 dozen Division 1 college coaches asking about players on both teams in just the first half of the week!!!
